NMEDAUK was established by a small group of adaptation companies who shared some concerns about the industry we work in and its image to the outside world.

With this in mind NMEDAUK aims to:

1   Provide its members with up-to-date information with regard to legislation and standards.  Improve safety standards in the industry.
2   Improve communication with motor manufacturers. Providing a source for mediation and complaint intervention to assist the consumer and dealer
3   Raise awareness of our industry and demonstrate that NMEDAUK Members provide first-class products and service.
4.  Encourage professionalism, by establishing an International Code of Practice and Guidlines.
5.  Offering a voluntary Quality Assurance Programme.
6.  Promoting specialist training.
7.  Informing and educating those outside of its area of expertise.
8.  Assisting with EMC and CE approval across the industry.
9.  Conforming to the Disability Discrimination Act.
