SPECIAL TWIN FLIP-UPS TO SUIT THE INDIVIDUAL
Occasionally we are asked to modify our Twin Flip-Ups to suit the individual.
A right leg amputee with a rigid false right leg, may need additional space on the right side of the foot well where the accelerator is. We would then design our Twins to flip-up very high on the pedal, and make a cut-out on the cowling for the pedal to flip-up into. This invariably gives the room for the right foot to sit in the back of the foot well without obstructing the pedal or hinge mechanism of the Twin Flip-Up.
